"Prometheus Did the Wrong Thing When He Stole Fire From Olympus" Fire isn't evil. It doesn't hate us. I had a dream that I was wearing a blindfold. Fire doesn't ask us to jump into it. That open book didn't ask me to read it. The ends of the fabric became snakes when I tried to free my eyes. But we keep sticking our hands back into the flames. And when our hands are burned off, we stick in our legs. By the time I threw the snakes off, they'd already laid their eggs. In the end, light and darkness are the same. We get swallowed by both when we stray too close. And where my eyes had once been, snakes now emerged. We naturally fear the dark. But what is light if not the dark's shadow?

I am brought past the third gate to the vineyard by angels in golden masks. My arms are tied to the cross beams of a wooden lattice with vines. I think to myself that these vines would be easily broken should I struggle hard enough. Only a moment later though, my binds stiffen and constrict like serpents around my wrists. My Bio

There isn't much to say. I'd like to call myself a writer, but unfortunately I haven't published anything professionally yet, so for now let's just call me an amateur writer.

I have obsessive compulsive disorder, so I tend to think a lot and fixate one or two things as if my life depended on it. That being said, I am also fabulously lazy, so while I may start a project with fiery resolve, once the fire goes out, I become hesitant to even look at it again. Still though, if anyone absolutely loves something I post (as if that would ever happen), I'd be happy to borrow some of your fire to stoke my creative furnace and finish one of the myriad fragments I've left unfinished over the years.
